Identifying mosquito breeding grounds

1. Remember that standing water breeds mosquitoes

Mosquitoes cannot grow without water. Female mosquitoes lay eggs in stagnant water, while eggs, larvae (larvae), and pupae grow in water. So, without standing water, there would be no mosquitoes or insects.

2. Pay close attention to key points

Ponds, jars, basins, and other containers such as tofu boxes for growing and watering flowers in front and behind the house

Rainwater wells, sewage wells, telecommunications, gas, etc. in the drainage ditch downstairs of residents and on the roads of residential areas

Municipal pipeline basement collection well; And the roof canopy

Identifying mosquito breeding grounds

1. Pay close attention to key points

Flies breed in decaying animals, decaying plants, human manure, livestock manure, and household waste. Due to the untimely removal of waste and the disorderly stacking of garbage, the environment is harsh and it is easy for flies to breed.

A Complete Guide to Common Mosquito and Fly Control Techniques in Summer

01 Nature Management

In summer evenings, turn off indoor lights, open doors and windows to allow mosquitoes to fly outside, and then close the screen windows and doors tightly to prevent mosquitoes from flying in. Try to reduce indoor air humidity and maintain a relative humidity of around 50% as much as possible.

02 mosquito net

Mosquito nets are the safest and most environmentally friendly, as long as they are not damaged, they are the most effective.

03 Wear light colored clothes

Aedes mosquitoes (also known as spotted mosquitoes) prefer to park on black clothes. So everyone should try to wear lighter colored clothes in the hot summer.

04 Try to wear socks as much as possible

Many people like to wear shoes barefoot in summer, but little do they know that after wearing socks, mosquitoes feel a decrease in skin moisture and volatile substances on the skin surface, which can reduce bites.

05 Fruit Peel Mosquito Repellent

After drying the orange peel and willow peel, wrap them in stockings and place them in a corner of the wall. The scent they emit is both mosquito repellent and fresh air.

06 Potted Plants

Use odors that mosquitoes dislike to drive away: mint, fennel, cloves, lavender, eucalyptus, lemongrass, thyme, etc. Placing 1-2 pots of blooming jasmine, Milan or roses indoors before dusk can achieve a good mosquito repellent effect.

07 Orange Red Light

Install orange red light bulbs indoors, or cover the bulbs with translucent orange red glass paper. When the lights are turned on, mosquitoes are afraid of the orange red light and will also escape.

08 White Vinegar Mosquito Repellent

Spraying some white vinegar indoors can also achieve mosquito repellent effect.

09 Spray special drugs to kill mosquitoes and flies

Placing insecticides in places where mosquitoes lay eggs and reproduce is also an effective way to control mosquitoes. Dead water is the main place for mosquitoes to lay eggs. As long as insecticides are placed in areas with dead water, such as drainage ditches and rainwater, every week, most of the mosquito eggs will be killed before the adults, which can greatly reduce the number of mosquitoes.

10 mosquito lamps

The photocatalytic mosquito trap is the most environmentally friendly and efficient mosquito killer, which is harmless to the human body. Moreover, photocatalytic reactions can purify the air and effectively kill various bacteria in the air. Mosquito lamps utilize the phototaxis and sensitivity of mosquitoes to specific wavelengths. Ultraviolet light is attractive to mosquitoes, and pests such as mosquitoes and flies are sucked into mosquito storage bags when they approach the lamp tube. Professional mosquito lamps in breeding farms are specially designed for safe escape and release.

When the air conditioning is turned on and below 28 ℃:

Mosquitoes are most active at temperatures between 28 ℃ and 31 ℃, so when the air conditioning is turned on and below 28 ℃, mosquitoes will naturally leave this environment.
