Physical and chemical barriers

Mainly for anti ant slow-release polymer film. The film has three layers in total, with the surface layer being the moisture-proof layer, the middle layer being the drug treatment layer, and the bottom layer being the base layer, which provides protection for the drug. Anti ant slow-release polymer film has no odor, can be cut and bent, is easy to use, is not limited by time and location, and can provide long-term protection for buildings (with a shelf life of more than 10 years) and no pollution to the environment. When in use, lay the anti ant slow-release polymer film between the soil and the foundation concrete, and use it to seal the gaps around indoor pipelines that enter through the soil

Application site of Kordon TMB anti ant slow-release polymer film

The Kordon Termite Moisture Barrier (TB) product consists of three layers: the surface layer is a moisture-proof layer, the middle layer is a drug treatment layer containing 1.0g/m2 deltamethrin, and the bottom layer is the base layer, which provides protection for the drug layer. TMB drug film has no odor, can be cut and bent, is easy to use, is not limited by time and location, and can provide long-term ant prevention effect.

Physical barrier - sand particles

At present, the sand material has expanded from ordinary sand to granite, basalt, and glass fragments. The optimal sand size for preventing termites is 1.7-2.40mm (16 mesh sieve). When using, solid particles are filled around the bottom of the concrete layer or in certain positions inside the building, and the thickness of the particle layer is required to be above 150mm.

Physical Barrier - Stainless Steel Mesh

The mesh size of the stainless steel mesh is 0.45mm x 0.66mm, and the diameter of the steel wire is 0.18mm. The minimum area that termite worker ants can pass through is 1.2mm2, so this product can effectively prevent termites from passing through. The usage method is to lay stainless steel metal mesh at the bottom and around the building, or at certain parts of the building where termites may invade. The effective period of using this method to prevent self ants can reach several decades.
